Historically, post high school outcomes for youth with emotional disturbance (ED) are bleak. Low graduation rates, high unemployment and arrest rates, and poor social adjustment are typical outcomes for these students receiving traditional service delivery. This presentation discusses research-based best practices for transition programs for these challenged and challenging youth.
