Creating Futures through Self-Determination Skills and Person-Driven Planning Research supports that self-determination skills empower youth to take the lead in planning their futures. Video examples of self-determined youth who have used person centered/driven planning will be shared, and how they translated these plans into “official” forms (IEP, ITP, IPP) to develop and track measurable and meaningful life goals.
