Lara Okunubi became the Executive Director of Ideal Program Services in 2007 after the transition to glory of her late husband, Bayo Okunubi. Lara stepped in unprepared but with unquenchable passion and renewed determination to continue a legacy, she assumed the leadership role to create positive changes in the operations of Ideal Program Services.
For the past Twenty Five years Ideal Program Services has been dedicated and advocating for the vulnerable population believing that when support improves, outcomes will increase. This philosophy spurred Lara in charting many difficult frontiers in business, and community taking cue from leadership forums, trainings and collaborating with reputable organizations. Consistent with this value is Lara’s focus and pursuit of improving the quality of life for both adults served and the Staff providing the support, a doubly satisfying experience.

Ideal Program parents seven divisions of various services to individuals with disabilities including Senior Community program and Employment skill training, promoting independence and informed person-centered outcomes.
